 GRID & SPEC SHEET The Hunter Grid system is a patented rail-lock action system specifically designed to provide exceptional strength and integrity to the grid. In addition, it allows for the removal or replacing of T-Bars with a simple 1/4 turn. For those special finishing touches the lightweight aluminium can be anodized or custom colored to create a functional and attractive grid system. Weight Of Assembled Accessible Ceiling: • 4X8 Panels: 1.52 LBS/ SQ.FT. • Panel: NO. 42090-T8 Weight of T-Bar Frame: • For 2X4 Panel .302 LBS/SQ.FT. • For 4X8 Panel .152 LBS/SQ.FT. • This panel has a 4" expanded polystyrene core with .090 FRP skins laminated to both sides using a structural adhesive. • All panels must be caulked and sealed in place using silicone caulking. Suspensions: Standard. Ceiling: 12 GA annealed wire @ 4' on centre Accessible Ceiling: 9 GA annealed wire with 1/4" turn- buckle for adjustment @ 3' on centre. • Grid and panels are USDA and Agricultural Canada accepted. • Accessible ceiling meets and exceeds American National Standard A 58.1-1982 for accessible ceilings. Test results available on request. Light fixtures available are either a 2' x 4' tube fluorescent or a 2' x 2' low profile metal halide. • Custom fixtures are available. • Main T's and Corner Frame have aligning holes punched every 6" on centre. • Splice plates are supplied to join Main T's and have the Cross T profile to allow for "Special Cross T's" field manufactured providing the same strength as the factory manufactured units. |
